Comment: View accross the Dunube of Buda Castle. This place has witnessed wars and occupation from the 13th to the 20th century. It has been destroyed three times and then rebuilt. Todays design was taken on after World War II The Turks & the Habsburgs have occupied this building. It is now occupied by several museums.

Fishermans Bastion 2 * This was built in 1895. It is sited on the place of the midieval fish market and the walls were built on the foundations of the medieval castle walls. This new wall has only ever had a decorative role. * 2048 x 1536 * (1.54MB)
