TV Tower & St Mary's Church * 2448 x 3264 * (2.27MB)

Alexandra Platz * One of the waterfalls in Alexandra Platz * 3264 x 2448 * (2.89MB)

St Mary's Church * Its exact age is not known, but it was first mentioned in German chronicles in 1292. It is presumed to date from earlier in the 13th century. During World War II, it was heavily damaged by Allied bombs. After the war the church was in East Berlin, and in the 1950s it was restored by the East German authorities. * 3264 x 2448 * (2.49MB)

Neptunbrunnen * 2448 x 3264 * (2.21MB)

Neptunbrunnen-1 * In the center of Alexandra Platz stands the Neptunbrunnen, built by Reinhold Begas (1891). Originally this fountain stood between the Town Palace and the Court Stables. The figures depict Neptune and his Court. The Berliners say that the ladies of Neptune's train are the only women in Berlin who can hold their tongues. They seem to have the largest breasts as well!! * 3264 x 2448 * (2.38MB)

Altes Museum-1 * It's a museum, we didn't go in, but there is a bunch of old stuff in there trust me! * 3264 x 2448 * (2.73MB)

Berliner Dom * Berliner Dom is the largest and most decorated church in Berlin. Originally built between 1894-1905, members of the ruling dynasty of the time are buried in the crypt beneath it. Since then the church has been fully restored - reopening in 1993 after almost 40 years of restorations! It looks like they still aren't finished yet to me! * 3264 x 2448 * (2.26MB)

Berliner Dom-1 * 3264 x 2448 * (2.31MB)

University of Berlin-2 * Normally Universities do not interest me however, this particular University was where Albert Einstein first studied. In 1914 he was appointed Director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Physical Institute and Professor in the University of Berlin. * 3264 x 2448 * (2.57MB)

Friedrich Der Grobe * Friedrich was a King of Prussia (1740–1786) from the Hohenzollern dynasty. * 3264 x 2001 * (1.82MB)
