Comment: Under these people there are some steps. They were build in 1725. In the 18th century the most beautiful women and men of Italy gathered here, waiting to be chosen as an artist's model.
Trevi Fountain 1 * In 19 BCE, supposedly with the help of a virgin, Roman technicians located a source of pure water only 14 miles (22 km) from the city. This Aqua Virgo led the water directly into the Baths of Agrippa. It served Rome for more than four hundred years. * 2048 x 1536 * (1.5MB)

Trevi Fountain 2 * 2048 x 1536 * (1.56MB)

Trevi Fountain 3 * 2048 x 1536 * (1.46MB)

Trevi Fountain Janka & Brad * There is a fountain to the right of us just out of shot. If you drink from that fountain it is believed you become a virgin again. I took a drink but did not feel any different. Disapointing. * 1536 x 2048 * (1.49MB)

Spanish Steps Top * 2048 x 1536 * (1.44MB)
