Comment: This was where the scafold was that they used to cut the heads off the more important prisoners like Kings, Queens, and Dignitaries.
Noose * This is similar to the noose they used on Guy Fawkes. When they caught him he was kept in the tower for nearly a year and tortured nearly every day until he signed a confession. On his execution day they hung him until he was almost dead. Then cut him free, while he was gasping for air the executioner cut him with a knife from nipples to navel and started pulling out his insides. Guy was still alive at this point. He was even alive for a few seconds after the executioner pulled his still beating hart from his chest and showed it to him. Guess they get pissed when you try and blow up parliament. * 1536 x 2048 * (1.23MB)

Queens House * These are the Queens houses. The queen didn't actually stay in them, but her important guests did some of which were actually held prisoner there. It later became the homes of the Yeomen Guards, and still are today. * 2048 x 1536 * (1.48MB)

Tower Bridge 3 * 2048 x 1536 * (1.51MB)

Guards Changing * Not sure of the purpose of the army guy at the back. I think the guards in the funny hats can take care of themselves with their guns. * 2048 x 1536 * (1.51MB)

Traitors Gate * This is where the boatman used to bring in the prisoners. Hence the name Traitors Gate. * 2048 x 1536 * (1.5MB)
