Comment: One of the many fountains in this huge "backyard" Roman Ruins in the background.
Schonbrunn Palace * This is the entrance of the Schonbrunn Palace.
At the end of the 17th century it was built as a Baroque Hunting Lodge.
Then in the 18th century they added on to it and it became the 
imperial residence for Maria Theresa. * 2048 x 1536 * (1.43MB)

Brad & Janka infront Schonbrunn * Janka and I in front of the Palace. We went on a 50min Grand Tour of 40 rooms (no cameras allowed) Words can't describe how amazing it is inside! Mozart played some of his first Symphonies here when he was just 6 years old! And the Baroque room (where they dance etc) is 40 meters long! * 2048 x 1536 * (1.54MB)

View from top of Neptunbrunne * View from top of Statue of the gardens, the estate carrys on either side and behind this point. The world's oldest Zoo built in 1752 (and been in continuous use since) is just to the left, it has over 300 different animals. * 2048 x 1536 * (1.48MB)

Gloriette * The Gloriette. A triple arched triumphal gate with sweeping staircases is the crowning architectural feature of the palace gardens. Built in 1775. * 2048 x 1536 * (1.33MB)
